System parts

Ringlock scaffolding is not a single vertical tube. Rosette, wedge, diagonal and platform are read as one set. Mixed stock ruins the node.

Where is it used?

Ringlock scaffolding systems are the backbone on asymmetric plants. On a straight insulation facade, H-type is faster; when the geometry breaks, the system changes.

Vessels and reactors

Vessels and reactors

Circumferential rings and stepped towers. The erection plan is part of the job inside a shutdown window.

Silos and inclined steel

Silos and inclined steel

Curves and slopes that an H-type frame cannot fit take members from the rosette in the required direction.

Pipe bridges and overhauls

Pipe bridges and overhauls

Bridges, brackets and high node loads stay in the same family. Traffic and escape routes are drawn from the start.

Ringlock or H-type?

Search intent is not “cheapest m²”. On a straight facade, H-type guarded facade scaffolding gains speed. On vessels and silos, ringlock is required.

Ringlock or cuplock?

Both are industrial class. Cuplock gains tempo on a regular grid. On angled equipment the rosette is freer.

Erection sequence

Installation depends on the project. Brackets, rings and free-standing towers need a separate structural note.

  1. 1Check ground bearing; mark base-jack levels.
  2. 2The starter collar locks spacing; the system is plumbed and levelled.
  3. 3Rosette standards rise lift by lift. Empty nodes are not left.
  4. 4Ledgers and diagonals lock with wedges. There is no tower without diagonals.
  5. 5Platforms, guardrails and toeboards are fitted as part of the lift.
  6. 6Rings, brackets and bridges are added to the project geometry; anchors follow the structural note.

Frequently asked questions

What ringlock scaffolding is, how it differs from H-type and cuplock, how hire is priced — short answers.

What is ringlock scaffolding?

It is a modular industrial system (ringlock type) in which ledgers, diagonals and brackets connect from the rosette on the standard. It is not straight facade scaffolding. It weaves a working shell around vessels, silos, pipe bridges and asymmetric steel.

Which standards does ringlock scaffolding follow?

TS EN 12810 is the product framework; TS EN 12811 is the load and guardrail rule. Galvanizing is read with TS 914 EN ISO 1461. Rosettes, wedges and diagonals are not completed with undocumented mixed stock. A certificate does not replace site anchors.

Ringlock or H-type?

On straight residential and office facades, H-type guarded facade scaffolding is sufficient and faster. Silos, vessels, inclined steel and heavy plants need ringlock scaffolding. On mixed sites both can be used together.

Cuplock or ringlock?

On a regular grid, slabs and falsework, cuplock gains speed. On angled geometry, circular equipment, brackets and high node loads, ringlock is freer. The decision follows the form on survey, not the stock.

How is ringlock scaffolding priced?

Hire is usually m² / month; heavy-load configurations are a separate band. Number of lifts, geometry, shutdown duration and haulage shift the unit. Reference ranges are on the price page; the firm figure comes after survey and the structural note.

Does 3B erect it?

Yes. Supply, structural notes and erection-dismantling are planned under the same roof. Hot work, escape and plant traffic on a live facility are written from the start. Dispatch is from stock in İzmir Torbalı, İstanbul Tuzla / Orhanlı and Kosova Ferizaj.
